Job summary

Klingbeil Capital Management is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance for the Alexandria, VA community. You will oversee preservation, safety, and high-quality repairs, guiding a team in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience and a valid HVAC/EPA/NAPE certification, with knowledge of OSHA/MSDS and risk management. On-call rotation and physical duties apply in varying weather and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years in facilities and/or residential building maintenance
• 3+ years supervisory track record in hiring, developing and retaining teams
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification required
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS a must
• Advanced HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair skills expected

Responsibilities

• Preservation and protection as asset preservation lead for the community
• Inspire pride in Klingbeil Capital Management among staff and residents
• Lead safety-focused maintenance operations and emergency readiness
