Job summary

Levco Management LLC in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for a 160-unit property. Lead the on-site maintenance team, supervise work orders, and maintain safe, efficient operations to protect resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, HVAC and building systems skills, EPA certification, and a focus on cost-conscious upkeep. This is a full-time position with on-site responsibilities and occasional overtime/on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• HVAC installation and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA certification required.
• Plumbing and electrical skills.
• General apartment maintenance (drywall, appliances).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience with property renovations preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site team members.
• Develop capital improvement budgets.
• Manage capital improvements at property level.
• Ensure high-quality resident service.
• Ensure maintenance quality and turnover.
• Complete and supervise work orders.
• Bid, schedule, and supervise contracted work.
• Schedule make-ready work for apartments.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform departmental safety inspections twice weekly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
