Vesta Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent for Westway Gardens Townhomes in Elyria, OH. You will lead day-to-day maintenance operations, manage staff and contractors, and ensure safety, curb appeal, and budget adherence.

A hands-on leader who cares about residents will thrive here. Responsibilities include making apartments move-in ready, coordinating preventive maintenance, overseeing inventory, and driving on-call maintenance.

Competenze

• 5+ years of related experience in apartment maintenance or property management.
• Apartment community experience required.
• Drywall, lock changes, light electrical, carpentry, flooring and plumbing experience required.
• HVAC Type I and Type II experience required.
• Knowledge of third-party government inspection protocols (REAC, etc.).
• Experience leading a team is required.
• Multilingual a plus; own hand and power tools; valid driver's license.

• Lead maintenance staff and workflow processes; delegate tasks and manage work orders.
• Oversee day-to-day physical operations to meet safety, appearance and budget goals.
• Manage inventory of ready apartments and coordinate make-ready inspections.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Drive on-call maintenance coverage and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Communicate with Property Manager, vendors, and residents to maintain service levels.
