Vesta Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support Westway Gardens Townhomes in Elyria, OH. The ideal candidate will have LIHTC/Section 8 experience and a customer-focused approach to resident relations.

The role includes coordinating leasing, rent calculations, and certifications, plus collaboration with site staff to achieve occupancy and timely collections. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years in occupancy/leasing/APM role.
• Experience with site-based affordable housing programs preferred (LIHTC, Section 8).
• COS and/or CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Property Manager and staff to maximize occupancy and collections.
• Process compliance and financial administration, leasing, renewals, and resident communications.
• Coordinate leasing, show apartments, interview prospects and assess needs/qualifications.
• Manage rent calculations, deposits, and interim/yearly certifications as required.
• Assist with marketing outreach and resident retention initiatives.
• Maintain property records and supervise maintenance coordination as needed.
