Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate plant maintenance, lead 15 technicians, and partner with the Maintenance Manager to uphold safety and SQF/GMP standards.

The role requires an associate degree or related experience, 5 years of supervision, PLC electrical/mechanical knowledge, SAP and MS Office proficiency. Relocation is eligible; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must lead and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians.
• Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and electronic (PLC) problems and direct/assist with repairs.
• Develop and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program for equipment and plant.
• Knowledge of SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance policy and procedures to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Direct and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Minimize downtime by quickly assessing problems and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager on strategy and staff development.
