Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Prepared Foods location. You will oversee maintenance technicians, working with the Maintenance Manager to implement policies and ensure a safe, clean plant environment.

You will lead preventive maintenance and repairs, reduce downtime, and ensure adherence to SQF and GMP standards. Weekend availability may be required; relocation is not specified. Please note benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

Leadership and technical ability to lead, direct, evaluate and train a team of maintenance technicians.
Ability to measure, monitor and reduce machine downtime and diagnose basic PLC/electrical/mechanical issues.
Promote and maintain a Safety First culture and a preventive maintenance program.
3+ years as a maintenance technician or related role; leadership experience preferred.
Associate degree or relevant certificate; hands-on experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct maintenance technicians, fostering a well-trained and motivated team.
Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures.
Manage and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment.
Quickly assess issues to minimize production downtime.
Ensure all maintenance staff understand and follow SQF Quality Management policies, procedures, and GMP practices.
