Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate all plant maintenance activities and lead a team of nine technicians on the B Shift. The role involves directing maintenance policies, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring preventive maintenance programs are effective.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in maintenance leadership, basic PLC knowledge, and proficiency with SAP. Weekend work and adherence to AI-guided processes are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical college certificate, or equivalent; OR five or more years of related experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Maintenance Lead or Supervisor with direct reports.
• Experience directing, evaluating, and training maintenance technicians.
• Weekend work is required.
• Responsible use of AI tools in daily work and accountability for AI-supported outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, evaluate, and train a staff of maintenance technicians.
• Manage and oversee preventive maintenance programs and equipment repairs.
• Minimize production downtime by quick problem assessment and repair coordination.
• Ensure compliance with SQF Quality Management policies, GMP practices, and company procedures.
