Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or technical program certificate; OR 5+ years of related experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports.
• Technical Skills: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC systems.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication. Strong listening skills.
• Computer Skills: Intermediate Word/Excel/Outlook; basic PLC knowledge; SAP experience preferred.
• Special Skills: Motivated self-starter with ability to lead others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians per policies.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and repair schedules.
• Reduce downtime via troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC issues.
• Promote a Safety First culture in the maintenance team.
• Ensure SQF, GMP and food safety compliance.
• Assist in training, evaluating, and developing maintenance staff.
• Partner with production to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
