Job summary

UniFirst in Greenfield, Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently and to lead maintenance staff training and improvements. You will oversee preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and guide safety/compliance initiatives across shifts.

Role requires 3+ years of repair experience in manufacturing and 2+ years supervising staff, with on-the-job training and periodic overtime. Strong organizational and budgeting skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• 2+ years supervising maintenance personnel preferred.
• Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, parts/vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Read blueprints and schematics to follow engineering specs and instructions.
• Manage and assign maintenance across shifts and oversee safety compliance.
