Job summary

The Tipton Group is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor for our Plano and Arlington communities. In this hands-on role, you will oversee daily maintenance, troubleshoot repairs, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.

We value dependable, skilled professionals who can manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and work closely with the Community Manager and onsite team. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification required.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform general apartment maintenance and repairs.
• Must provide and use your own basic tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete and assist with resident service requests and maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
• Help ensure apartments are properly maintained and ready for residents.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, including trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Identify maintenance concerns and help ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with residents, visitors, vendors, and team members.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Work closely with the Community Manager and maintenance team to support property needs.

What You’ll Do
