Job summary

Tipton Asset Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in the Austin area to oversee day-to-day maintenance and the upkeep of the apartment community. You will help ensure resident satisfaction by maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include 24-hour on-call emergencies, grounds work, and assisting with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance. Strong HVAC/plumbing knowledge and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least four years of experience and HVAC certification.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Must have basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Available for on-call property emergencies.

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Complete grounds work including trash pick-up and light landscaping.

The Job: Our lead maintenance technicians are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details: Our Lead Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Have at least four years of experience and HVAC certification
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Available for on call property emergencies
