Job summary

Qualifications

• Educ/experience: GED or high school diploma; technical/vocational courses preferred.
• 4+ years in a supervisory role in maintenance operations; district's allowances considered.
• Significant journeyman level experience in trades relating to maintenance/repair.
• Ability to read plans and specifications; knowledge of building codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and supervise multiple work groups and projects.
• Submit cost estimates for materials and labor; write requisitions.
• Procure equipment and materials; manage stock and inventories.
• Receive work orders, assign tasks, and set priorities.
• Develop and deliver safety training; ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
• Inspect completed jobs; prepare reports and maintain records.
