Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance.
• Experience in warehouse distribution center maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; automated equipment a plus.
• OSHA and local safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assigns, and inspects the work of the maintenance staff.
• May participate in hands-on maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Prepares estimates of work hours, materials, and resources for projects; manages requisitions.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs for mechanical equipment and facilities.
• Tracks progress of maintenance programs and reports on them.
• Maintains cost-effective spare parts inventory and minimizes downtime.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory programs.
• Assists in developing annual budgets and controls expenses.
• Trains and instructs personnel.
• Fosters respectful environment and teamwork.
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
