Job summary

Golden West Packaging Group is seeking a Maintenance Lead to guide the maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on safe, reliable operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of motors, conveyors, PLC systems, and electrical equipment.

You will provide day-to-day direction to technicians, document work in CMMS, support safety programs, and lead root-cause analysis for reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize maintenance work based on safety and urgency.
• Leadership to guide technicians and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of motors, conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain industrial equipment including motors, conveyors, PLC-controlled systems.
• Coordinate preventive/predictive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Provide day-to-day direction and technical guidance to maintenance technicians.
• Document work orders and equipment history in CMMS; review recurring issues.
• Ensure safety processes and OSHA requirements are followed; support root cause analysis.
