Job summary

Perdue Foods in the United States seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a high performing maintenance operation that keeps plant production safe, efficient, and reliable.

You will drive maintenance strategy and execution for the facility, provide leadership and oversight of projects, manage staff, ensure preventative and predictive maintenance, and coordinate with outside vendors to optimize equipment performance and maintenance spend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related discipline. In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have an understanding of maintenance management systems and processes, preventative and predictive maintenance, manufacturing technologies and standard software applications.
• Requires strong communication, math, organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be able to travel to other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing maintenance operation to keep plant production running safely and reliably.
• Develop maintenance strategy and oversee projects, cost optimization, and improvements.
• Manage maintenance staff including hiring, training, and development.
• Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance with proper records.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and maintain the maintenance management system.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
