Job summary

FreezPak Logistics in Miami, FL is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operations of a cold storage facility. You will manage a team of technicians, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance to keep equipment running efficiently.

The role requires 3–5 years in maintenance with 1–2 years in supervision, plus experience in cold storage or food logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in maintenance or technical roles, with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Experience in cold storage or food logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate performance.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for warehouse machinery and refrigeration.
• Diagnose malfunctions and oversee or perform repairs, coordinating with vendors.
• Oversee building infrastructure, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety training for the team.
• Manage inventory of tools and parts; ensure replenishment.
• Coordinate vendor contracts and service agreements.
• Maintain maintenance records and generate reports on cost and downtime.
• Continuously assess processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and be on call after hours.
