Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in cold storage or similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Certifications such as HACCP, BRC recommended; OSHA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and systems including refrigeration units, conveyors, and handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE properly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities (work orders, inspections, repairs).
• Assist in preventive maintenance program development to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to prioritize and schedule tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance to minimize disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
