Job summary

FreezPak Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Suffolk, VA facility. You will perform routine maintenance on cold-storage machinery, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed to minimize downtime.

The role requires 2–3 years in maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred technical training. We offer growth opportunities and a team-first culture within our state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a maintenance role, preferably in cold storage or similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Certifications in HACCP/BRC/OSHA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to schedule tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
