Job summary

Ambo Properties is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in our residential buildings. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to resident satisfaction.

You will manage routine maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC issues, and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with residents and partners. The position offers a path for advancement in a dynamic property management team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid EPA Certification required.
Valid HVAC Certification required.
1–3 years of experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; bilingual preferred.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Install and repair HVAC systems in residential units.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address their concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate service records.
Additional General Maintenance Repairs (as needed) - Carpentry, painting, trash outs etc.
