Job summary

Ambo Properties is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in our residential buildings. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to resident satisfaction.

You will manage routine maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC issues, and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with residents and partners. The position offers a path for advancement in a dynamic property management team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid EPA Certification required.
• Valid HVAC Certification required.
• 1–3 years of experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; bilingual preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair HVAC systems in residential units.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address their concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Additional General Maintenance Repairs (as needed) - Carpentry, painting, trash outs etc.
