Job summary

Merrimack Manufacturing in Manchester, NH, seeks a Maintenance Lead to supervise daily maintenance operations in a regulated medical device environment. You will lead technicians, diagnose issues, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, compliant equipment performance.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, plus experience with PLCs and CMMS.

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in regulated medical device manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

Lead and support daily maintenance activities of the maintenance team.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility systems.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support requests promptly.
Maintain maintenance records, work orders and equipment logs.
Assist with installation, validation, and qualification of new equipment.
Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, OSHA and safety requirements.
Support continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Train, supervise and mentor maintenance technicians.
Participate in audits and support corrective actions as needed.
