Job summary

Merrimack Manufacturing is seeking a Program Manager in Manchester, NH to lead cross-functional teams through the product realization process, from design authority to manufacturing release. The ideal candidate will drive schedule, cost, and objectives while ensuring compliance with Merrimack quality standards.

Required are 5+ years of project leadership on electromechanical devices and FDA-regulated environments, plus strong collaboration, regulatory, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading projects from concept through release in electromechanical devices.
• 5+ years in development and validation of complex electromechanical devices.
• Experience in FDA-regulated medical device environments.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Experience working with suppliers and customers.
• Proficient with MS Project and MS Office applications.
• Experience with structured problem solving tools (5-Why, A3, Six Sigma).
• Ability to influence across functional teams without direct authority.
• Team-oriented leader with emotional intelligence and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Projects follow the product realization process and meet manufacturing metrics such as on-time delivery, yield, throughput, and costs.
• Capture lessons learned and apply to future projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams through design authority to release to manufacturing.
• Translate high-level goals into tasks with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive delivery of aggressive goals while managing schedule, cost, and objectives.
• Interface with design authority to align objectives.
• Drive day-to-day activities, remove roadblocks, and manage resources.
• Work to standardize and improve the product realization process.
• Collaborate with management to provide project schedules and escalate issues.
