Job summary

Getinge in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support medical device production lines, monitor yields, and collaborate on CAPA investigations and process improvements.

The role emphasizes LEAN manufacturing, IQ/OQ/PQ qualifications, data analysis, and cross‑functional teamwork to improve quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance with FDA/ISO standards.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills utilizing statistical software (Minitab, JMP, etc).
• Experience in process improvement, new product development, equipment/process validation and engineering studies.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to function as part of a team and complete tasks independently.
• Flexible attitude and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing efficiency, yields, quality and consistency through equipment and process changes.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures using LEAN methodologies based on specs.
• Process ECOs (Engineering Change Orders).
• Analyze and present data using statistical methods.
• Develop and execute equipment and process qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Assist technicians with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Serve as SME for investigations and CAPA addressing nonconformance.
• May participate on cross-functional project teams.
• May provide work direction to engineers, technicians and operators.
• Analyze test results for development and pilot production.
