Job summary

You will mentor staff, schedule work orders, and perform hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of facilities or plant operations experience.
• Experience supervising a maintenance team.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical docs.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, Joint Commission/OSHA standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to attend ongoing education and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors the maintenance team and assigns tasks.
• Schedules internal and external maintenance work with vendors.
• Performs skilled maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Develops and maintains a preventive maintenance program.
• Participates in on-call rotation and covers staffing gaps.
• Reads diagrams and blueprints to troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Maintains tools, workspace, and inventory.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and fire safety codes.
• Collaborates with contractors to complete complex repairs.
