Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Dallas, TX is seeking a Service Supervisor for a 286-unit apartment community. You will oversee maintenance operations, repair units, and manage service records while staying within the budget.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of on-site property maintenance experience and EPA refrigerant certification, with strong customer service and leadership skills. Position is hourly, non-exempt with benefits plus bonuses and requires weekend work.

Qualifications

• At least three years of on-site property maintenance experience.
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License; able to work weekends.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations on the property within budget.
• Diagnose and repair issues for vacant and occupied units.
• Maintain service and safety records as required by law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Rate: $34.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
***Monthly renewal AND quarterly performance bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

We are seeking a Service Supervisor for our 286-unit apartment community in NorthDallas! As Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintenance operations on the property. Our ideal candidate has the necessary skills to complete maintenance and repairs for vacant and occupied units while working within the planned maintenance budget. Resident satisfaction is the key to our success, so our new Service Supervisor will be committed to handling maintenance requests timely and professionally. If you have successful experience in apartment maintenance with demonstrated skills in leadership, maintenance, and customer service, this is a great opportunity!

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in on-site property maintenance.
• Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for all maintenance operations on the property while working within the planned maintenance budget.
• Diagnosing and repairing basic and complex maintenance issues for vacant and occupied units
• Maintaining all service and safety records in compliance with federal, state, and local law.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by Community Manager or Regional Director.

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License; Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
