Job summary

Springfield Technical Community College is seeking a Supervisor Maintainers to oversee custodial staff and related campus maintenance. The role includes guiding maintenance crews, performing housekeeping and grounds tasks, and coordinating work projects with management.

Qualifications

• Three to five years custodial experience and one year supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift medium to heavy objects and stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and in a diverse college setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision, guidance and instruction to other maintainers on campus.
• Perform janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping or routine maintenance tasks.
• Plan and review work projects with management and staff to resolve problems and exchange information.
• Coordinate activities for work areas and inspect worksites; perform snow removal tasks when required.
