Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a Grounds Supervisor to lead campus exterior maintenance, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure exceptional service quality. You will oversee mowing, planting, irrigation, and seasonal beautification while directing snow removal for safe access.

The role requires pesticide licensing knowledge and the ability to work in tight spaces, with a 7:30am to 4pm shift. Reporting to Facilities Management, you will manage equipment, enforce PPE use, and supervise vendors to meet

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• At least one year landscape/grounds experience.
• Knowledge of horticulture, landscape & hardscape maintenance.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current pesticide applicators license (6A, 6C & Core) and basic pesticides knowledge.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments and inspect completed work for campus grounds.
• Oversee mowing, pruning, mulching, irrigation and seasonal plantings.
• Direct snow removal and de-icing to maintain safe access.
• Coordinate events and oversee contractor performance and quality.
• Maintain equipment, enforce PPE use, promote safe practices.
