Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Willingness to obtain the Missouri Pesticide Applicators Examination.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License, with evidence of insurability.

Responsibilities

• Administers the application of herbicides controlling turf pests and weeds in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain and repair playground equipment ensuring safe operating condition.
• Operate a variety of grounds keeping equipment ensuring safe and timely completion of work.
• Prepare grounds and athletic fields for assemblies, events, and athletic activities.
• Respond to safety or operational concerns and notify appropriate personnel for resolution.
