SCHEDULE:
40 hours per week; full-time. Generally 7:00a.m.to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a one hour lunch, with anoccasional Saturday hours. Schedule may vary according to Academyneeds. * This position is considered Essential Personnel.
Wage:
$27.00 - $29.00 per hour. Wage based on relevant experienceand/or education.

Position Purpose
Supports the mission of the Mailroom and Central ReceivingWarehouse by providing high quality, customer-oriented mailservices ensuring mail, delivered packages, and inventory movesefficiently and cost-effectively throughout the Phillips ExeterAcademy’s Campus.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of theday-to-day work associated with the mailroom.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty andstaff requiring assistance with mail and package deliveries and.inquiries.
- Transact via ERP systems, receipts for packages delivered tothe mailroom and warehouse locations.
- Process postage sale transactions with the mail meter machineand cash/charge drawer and run necessary financial reports.
- Responsible for readdressing mail with insufficient orincorrect addresses and forwarding all undeliverable mail to theU.S. Post Office.
- Manage the process to forward mail for 6 months to faculty nolonger employed by the Academy.
- Operate the academy mail van as back up support for scheduledcourier runs.
- Query Academy’s databases for up-to-date student enrollment,faculty and staff employee changes, and accurate mail distributionof faculty family members residing on campus.
- Administrator for online delivery/shipping programs.
- Perform as supervisor in absence of Mailroom/WarehouseSupervisor.
- Support Supervisor with drafting and updating departmentprocedures.
- Train mailroom employees on daily functions, including allmailroom and warehouse technology.
- Act as liaison between the Academy and the U.S. Post Office andmaintain current knowledge of U.S. Postal and other deliveryservice regulations.
- Perform warehouse related activities including receiving,issuance, and delivery of inventory items.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Some college experience is helpful.
Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- 2 years’ experience in mailroom or warehouse operationspreferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license andgood driving record.
- Oracle experience is desirable.
- Technology related to inventory management or work ordersystems experience is preferred.
- Experience in an institutional or campus setting
Physical Requirements
- Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary work andindividuals must be able to remain on their feet for extendedperiods of time, go up and down flights of steps, as well as stoop,kneel, crouch, and lift.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50lbs withoutassistance.
- Ability to withstand exposure to inclement weather (rain, snow,sleet, freezing temperatures, etc.).

- Successfully complete a criminal background check (reviewedevery 5 years).
- Clean Driving record (reviewed annually .
