Job summary

JLL in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Lead MAC Technician to supervise Moves, Adds and Changes for office furniture and related assets. You will guide a team, coordinate relocations, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery while maintaining safety standards.

This role blends hands-on work with leadership, site assessments, and collaboration with facilities managers and clients to meet project requirements and deliver a reliable, professional moving service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in furniture moves, installations, or MAC operations.
• Proficient with computers and smartphones.
• Strong verbal and written communication in a corporate setting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools, dollies, and moving equipment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and walk up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Lead MAC Technicians to execute work orders for moves, reconfigurations, installs, repairs.
• Plan and coordinate moves with facilities management; provide updates to project managers, stakeholders, and clients.
• Assemble, disassemble, and reconfigure office furniture systems and install fixtures.
• Modify furniture to meet client requirements and inspect quality.
• Load and unload trucks, manage staging and inventory during moves.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean job site on-site.
• Train and mentor technicians and develop technical skills across the team.
• Document work orders and inventory with accurate records.
