Job summary

The Licensed Veterinary Technician Staff and Floor Manager will join ASPCA's Community Veterinary Clinic (CVC) to support high-volume spay/neuter and primary pet care for underserved communities. You will manage floor workflow, assist veterinarians, and communicate with clients in a compassionate, efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of veterinary technology (2- or 4-year).
• Current New York State Veterinary Technician license.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of veterinary technician tasks including venipuncture and anesthesia monitoring.
• Support HQHVSN and PPC for cats and dogs.
• Maintain low-stress handling and communicate clearly with clients.
• Oversee clinic floor workflow and assist with daily operations.
• Coach and train nursing staff and interns.
