Job summary

Clearway Health is seeking a Laboratory Technician Assistant (clinical lab assistant/phlebotomist) for full-time work 40 hours/week. The role supports phlebotomy services, workflow management, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure timely patient care.

Responsibilities include training LTAs and students, monitoring competency, and directing specimens to appropriate departments while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or similar.
• Phlebotomy experience and lab experience are required.
• Phlebotomy Training program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Training of new LTAs and students and maintaining competency checklists.
• Coordinate and monitor LTA activities on assigned shifts.
• Distribute work and liaise between Laboratory and other Departments.
• Perform specimen collection and troubleshoot LIS and related processes.
• Ensure safety and compliance with departmental policies.
