Job summary

Sycamores is partnering with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide support to people in crisis. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) responds to calls for in-person support, crisis stabilization, and safety planning in Los Angeles County.

The LPS Supervisor will coach staff, ensure best practices, and coordinate with police, hospitals, DMH, and ambulance services. This is a direct-service leadership role requiring hands-on supervision, on-call availability, and field presence driving

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Technician in California.
• 3 years of management experience preferred.
• LPS certified or eligible.
• 2+ years supervisory experience with LPS knowledge.
• Excellent de-escalation, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance to the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team.
• Be on-call and fill in for crisis coverage as needed.
• Represent MCOT to external stakeholders and community resources.
• Consult during and after crisis calls with staff.
