Job summary

Sycamores is partnering with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide support to people experiencing a mental health crisis. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team responds 24/7, 365 days a year, and operates across designated regions in the LA area.

The MCOT Clinician leads care coordination, performs in-person evaluations, and coordinates with hospitals, ambulances, housing, and other resources to ensure safety and timely intervention.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field required.
• Licensed in the State of California as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Psy.D./Ph.D. required.
• 2+ years of licensure and experience preferred.
• Attend trainings required by agency and regulations.
• DMH experience preferred.
• Must maintain relevant licensure.

Responsibilities

• Respond in person to provide crisis stabilization, safety planning, and danger assessment.
• Coordinate care with MCOT Peer Support Specialist and partner with 988-call center, police, hospitals, and EMS.
• Travel across defined geographic areas to evaluate safety and coordinate hospitalization if needed.
