Job summary

Sycamores partners with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide immediate support to individuals in crisis. The MCOT Clinician responds in person for crisis stabilization, safety planning, and danger assessment, working with peers to coordinate care and locate hospitals or housing as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Licensed in California as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Psy.D./Ph.D.
• 2+ years of licensure and experience preferred.
• Must maintain relevant licensure as a condition of employment.
• DMH experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond in person to provide crisis stabilization and safety planning.
• Assess danger to self or others and gravely disabled conditions.
• Coordinate care with MCOT Peer Support Specialist and partner agencies.
• Travel to assigned geographic areas (Antelope Valley, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley) in the MCOT van.
