Job summary

Northgate Park in Cincinnati is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to supervise the Wellness Department on their shift and coordinate resident care. You will delegate tasks to RCAs and Medication Technicians, monitor care, and ensure accurate MAR documentation and medication administration as ordered by physicians.

The role requires an active nursing license in the state, at least two years of nursing experience, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be a licensed nurse in the state where you work.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Experience in an Assisted Living setting preferred. Dementia care experience preferred.
• Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required; must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delegates work assignments assuring effective shift coverage; coordinates care on shift.
• Participates in and supervises the delivery of personal care to residents.
• Implements the service plans and collects data regarding residents health status.
• Acts as shift team leader; coaches RCAs/MTs regarding care practices and standards; enforces residence policies and disciplinary reports.
