Job summary

Hcshiring seeks a licensed practical nurse supervisor to oversee nursing staff in an assisted living facility. You will ensure high-quality care by supervising HHAs and CNAs, performing rounds, administering medications, and coordinating with the Director of Wellness.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire; professionalism with residents is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program and licensed to practice in the state.
• Work experience in geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to uplift and maintain professional appearance and empathetic attitude toward seniors.
• CPR certification is required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HHAs, CNAs, and facility staff.
• Perform daily rounds of Assisted Living and, if needed, retirement residents.
• Administer medications per doctor’s orders and monitor effectiveness.
• Inform DOW/physician of patient conditions and supply needs.
• Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of nursing records.
