Job summary

VICARS LANDING is seeking a qualified nurse to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants at our Sawgrass facility. The position requires adherence to current guidelines and maintaining the highest standards of resident function and independence.

Applicants must hold a valid R.N. or L.P.N. License in Florida and have strong communication and supervisory skills. Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current R.N. or L.P.N. License in the State of Florida.
• Must be able to write, read, and speak the English language.
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care according to established standards of care.
• Assume charge position and direct functions of the nursing assistants.
• Perform routine charting duties as required.
