Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee nursing assistants in a Florida long-term care facility. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards and supervise daily nursing operations under the Nurse Supervisor and Director of Nursing Services.

The role requires a nursing degree, active licensure in Florida, and CPR certification. Strong leadership, planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration are essential to maintain

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in staff planning, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain nursing service manuals, charts, and documentation with accuracy.
• Oversee medication administration, charting, and reporting of incidents.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments to deliver quality resident care.
• Lead safety, infection control, and QA initiatives within the nursing unit.
