Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Clinical Technologist to oversee clinical technologist activities across our NJ market. You will lead onboarding, competency assessment, and ongoing training, travel to clinics, and serve as a trainer and resource for staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert and oversee Clinical Technologist responsibilities and duties within the Clinical Technologist scope of practice.
• Oversight of onboarding, competency assessment, and ongoing training of all Clinical Technologists in the market.
• Travel to assigned clinics as requested by supervisor or Clinical Program Manager.
• Serve as the trainer and educational resource to Clinical Technologists including training new employees and coaching employees identified as needing additional training.
• Provide oversight and final sign-off for new hire Clinical Technologists.
• Understand and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and workflows within scope of practice and scope of responsibility.
• When not actively engaged in coaching or training, assist other staff members with their duties in the spirit of teamwork to ensure effective and efficient clinic operations.
• Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with clinical and operational leadership on implementation of Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives.
