Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is recruiting for a Clinical Technologist Lead to oversee clinic technologists across multiple Florida locations. The role requires training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching in a fast-paced vascular care environment.

You will travel to assigned clinics, ensure compliance with SOPs, manage inventory and participate in quality improvement initiatives while upholding UVVC core values.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in state(s).
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in patient care.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA).
• Mastery of infection control, sterile technique, autoclaves, supply management, medication safety, and EMR documentation.
• Analytical thinking and sound judgement.
• Strong computer skills and EMR documentation.
• Ability to manage team activities and motivate colleagues.
• Dependable with reliable attendance.
• Internal candidates must be in good standing; no recent disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Clinical Technologist responsibilities within scope of practice.
• Onboarding, competency assessment, and ongoing training of all Clinical Technologists in the market.
• Travel to assigned clinics as requested by supervisor or Clinical Program Manager.
• Serve as trainer and educational resource for Clinical Technologists, including training new employees.
• Provide oversight and final sign-off for new hire Clinical Technologists.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and workflows within scope of practice.
• Assist other staff to ensure effective and efficient clinic operations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate on Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Complete assigned peer chart audits and report to supervisors.
• Collaborate with supply chain to ensure medications and supplies are available.
• Oversee inventory in assigned clinics and report to supply chain.
• Assist with interviews of Clinical Technologists.
• Work with Facility Administrator on feedback sessions and annual reviews.
• Drive efficient patient flow using eCW; verify patients, update status, and document vital signs.
• Promote UVVC core values in daily work.
• Adhere to Standards of Conduct in Employee Handbook.
• Identify and address risk areas.
• Fill in as a Clinical Technologist during staffing shortages.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality per HIPAA and laws.
• Other related duties as assigned.
