Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a nurse in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure that nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Lead development and maintenance of the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related documentation.
• Oversee admissions, discharges, and coordination with other departments as required.
• Review care plans and coordinate with physicians, CNAs, and support staff.
• Supervise staff performance, scheduling, and training to maintain quality care.
