Job summary

The LVN will oversee day-to-day nursing activities, ensure policy compliance, participate in discharge planning, and maintain accurate medical records while communicating effectively with physicians and residents’ families.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be graduate of approved LPN/LVN program.
• Active, unencumbered nursing license in the required state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Provide supervision to nursing staff per policies and procedures.
• Administer medications as ordered and ensure accurate documentation.
