Job summary

Westerville Post Acute is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and lead the nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality resident care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

As the unit supervisor, you will direct daily nursing activities, review and update care plans, mentor staff, participate in quality assurance, and coordinate with physicians and other departments to maintain a safe, compassionate, and compliant care environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be graduate of approved LPN/LVN program.
• Active, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
• Maintain required continuing education/licensing.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistants and supervise staff per policies.
• Ensure compliance with rules, regs, and facility policies.
• Review and update care plans and nursing service procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments for resident care.
• Participate in staff development and training.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, and infection control in the unit.
