Job summary

IES is seeking a General Superintendent for a large, complex Low Voltage / Structured Cabling project in McCarran, NV. The role oversees safety, quality, staffing, materials and financial performance, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with company standards.

Travel to the McCarran area is required; a $7,000 sign-on bonus is paid in installments over the first year. Candidate should have 5+ years supervisory or telecom/construction field experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years' supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet company driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise project staff.
• Ensure safety, quality, and financial performance requirements.
• Plan, manage, and monitor project profitability and deadlines.
• Review job cost postings and invoices for accuracy.
• Lead on-site customer liaison and interface with customer representatives.
