Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Superintendent - Low Voltage / Structured Cabling to lead large-scale telecommunications and structured cabling projects in the McCarran, NV area. Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience within telecommunications, low voltage, structured cabling, or construction environments.
• 3+ years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician, Superintendent, or similar leadership role.
• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, low voltage systems, or related technical construction disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects from scope development and estimation through final completion and customer turnover.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, quality requirements, and construction documentation.
• Experience leading customer-facing projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as required and meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale structured cabling, low voltage, and telecommunications infrastructure projects from planning through customer turnover
• Manage project staffing, scheduling, workload distribution, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution
• Monitor project profitability, labor utilization, and operational performance
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to customer requirements
• Oversee project documentation including work orders, change orders, timesheets, material transfers, invoicing, and project closeout packages
• Review project costs, purchasing activities, inventory management, and reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and project delivery
• Serve as the primary operational contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
