Job summary

Next Level Technician is seeking a Low Voltage Lead in Dallas, TX to manage and execute on-site installation and commissioning of access control systems. You will lead a crew of technicians and ensure safe, high-quality work across commercial buildings and schools.

The role requires 5+ years in low voltage/access control, hands-on experience with Lenel/Brivo/RCard/Avigilon, and strong knowledge of doors and hardware. Travel to local sites and occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on low voltage/access control experience.
Proven experience leading crews or supervising technicians.
Hands-on experience with Lenel, Brivo, RCard, and Avigilon.
Strong experience with doors and access control hardware (maglocks, electric strikes, hinges).
Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
Certifications such as BICSI, Lift, and OSHA are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform installation, troubleshooting, service, and commissioning of low voltage and access control systems.
Lead and support other low voltage technicians onsite.
Install and service access control hardware including maglocks, electric strikes, transfer hinges, and electric door kits.
Work with Lenel, Brivo, RCard, and Avigilon platforms.
Read and interpret access control blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
Troubleshoot access control systems and resolve field issues.
Ensure quality workmanship and safe installation practices.
Travel to Dallas area job sites as needed.
