Job summary

Next Level Technician in Dallas, Texas, is hiring a Low Voltage Lead to oversee installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of access control and security systems. The role requires hands-on work and leadership of a crew across commercial sites.

You will install hardware, work with Lenel, Brivo, RCard, and Avigilon platforms, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on every job. Overtime and travel within the Dallas area are expected; benefits and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on low voltage/access control experience.
• Experience leading crews or supervising low voltage technicians.
• Hands-on with Lenel, Brivo, RCard and Avigilon.
• Experience with doors and access hardware (maglocks, electric strikes, hinges).
• Certifications like OSHA/BICSI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform hands-on installation, troubleshooting, service, and commissioning of low voltage and access control systems.
• Lead and support other low voltage technicians onsite.
• Install and service access control door hardware, including maglocks, electric strikes, transfer hinges, and electric door kits.
• Work with access control platforms including Lenel, Brivo, RCard, Avigilon.
• Read and interpret access control blueprints, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
• Troubleshoot access control systems and resolve field issues.
• Ensure quality workmanship and safe installation practices.
• Work safely on ladders and lifts and be comfortable at heights.
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial buildings and schools.
