Job summary

Next Level Technician in Dallas, Texas, is hiring a Low Voltage Lead to oversee installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of access control and security systems. The role requires hands-on work and leadership of a crew across commercial sites.

You will install hardware, work with Lenel, Brivo, RCard, and Avigilon platforms, read blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on every job. Overtime and travel within the Dallas area are expected; benefits and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on low voltage/access control experience.
• Experience leading crews or supervising low voltage technicians.
• Hands-on with Lenel, Brivo, RCard and Avigilon.
• Experience with doors and access hardware (maglocks, electric strikes, hinges).
• Certifications like OSHA/BICSI are a plus.

• Strong experience working with door systems and access control hardware
• Experience with doors, maglocks, electric strikes, transfer hinges, and electric door kits
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
• Programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
• Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi‑vis vest, and steel‑toe boots
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Dallas area as needed
• Monday–Friday is typical, but hours may vary based on workload
• Must be flexible for overtime, occasional weekends, and late‑night work when project demands require it
