Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage & Security Systems Technician to oversee a two-person installation team and deliver hands-on leadership across access control, CCTV, and related systems.

You will install, configure, test, and commission equipment, read blueprints, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety, code compliance, and on-time project completion across local projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading installation crews within low-voltage, security, gate automation, access control, or technology integration industries.
• Proven experience installing and troubleshooting access control systems, telephone entry systems, audio/video systems, network equipment and structured cabling.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring practices and electrical fundamentals.
• Networking knowledge including IP addressing, router configuration, managed switches, and LAN/WAN connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a two-person installation team.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and to company standards.
• Train and mentor Installation Technicians on procedures, troubleshooting, safety, and industry best practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specs.
• Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and commission access control, CCTV, intercom, audio/video, and network systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, service personnel, customers, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project completion.
